Not today, the heat has just taken a toll on my appetite, and those wraps just tend to feel like a lead wait in my stomach all afternoon on days like this :( Plus, aftre last weeks vacation beer/food binge that I seemed to be on, the drawstring on my scrub pants are a bit shorter than usual, so the waist line could benefit from some green roughage ;)

It's sweet that you get to wear scrub pants..I think my dentist wears dress pants..

They're just so much more comfortable and easier to clean/maintain than dress pants. And if I happen to spill some bleach(which we dentists do use from time to time during certain procedures) or having some flying, bloody splatter land on them, it's no big deal.

Basically I get to spend my work day in Pajamas and sneakers, so I definately don't complain.

BTW, no plain, boring scrubs for me either. My scrub warbdrobe consists of print tops (often very bright colored and/or animal prints), some both standard (tan, black, navy) and not so standard colored scrub pants(yellow, red, green) and/or baseball, football, or college logo scrubs. My whole office is the same too!

I wear sneakers to work as well..I always used to wear dress shoes but on any given day I might push around tombstones so sneakers are better. I have workboots as well but they stink so I only wear them in mud or deep snow..Maybe this should be in the what are you wearing thread..lol

I always keep my shirt untucked because I hate a tucked in shirt..I always wear a polo shirt to work in the summer and in the winter sometimes a sweater or long sleeve polo with mainly khaki pants..since I'm overweight..I prefer pants with an exapandable waist...that way I never have to wear a belt. I've gotten shit from my boss for not wearing socks...When I used to work for Merrill Lynch I had to wear a tie..which sucked..

My total nonski wardrobe expenditure for this year is $20 for 2 pair of cargo shorts at BJ's for backups. Being a bum sure cuts down on a lot of expenditures. Last time I brought some shirts to the cleaners, I almost fell over from the cost increase. Call me Rip van Winkle.
