Would you buy a handheld base grinder to flatten and re-structure your worn out base? I'm curious if this is a product people would be interested in so they don't need to bring their skis to a shop.

What would the cost be?

Just a recipe for many, who don't have a proper, flat bench/vise system and/or a clear working area, to potentially do more harm than good to their bases IMHO.

Kind of like the Swix Evo side edge grinders. They can work great IF you know what you're doing AND have a clear working area, but if you don't the chances of doing some damage to your skis/board is significant
