Took the kids to Haystack today, the last day they are open this season. The skiing was great. It started off frozen but by ten the lower slopes in the sun was a nice corn and by 11 all the trails that were exposed for awhile had some very nice corn surfaces, needle was especially nice along with merlin.

The lack of snowmaking commitment was very evident as trails were thin and limited, but where there was snow it was great. Gandolf, merlin, needle, rocker, jennifers run, upper dutchman, flying dutchman, witch way, and spellbinder was what was open and they were all great.

Sunny and was mid 20's at 8:30 when we left the house and 40 at 1:30 when we returned.
