Honestly when I first saw the headline I thought that it was one of Snowbird/Powderbird's Helicopters that went down. This season we have seen a lot of them flying around.

One had an "incident" landing, and part of its main rotor took the tail rotor off of number 2 according to the news.Oy.

I wouldn’t want the military conducting exercises where I’m skiing. They don’t have the best track record for that.
I’m sure flying one is an amazing experience.
They fly over my house all dayQuite a few times I've seen fighter jets while skiing Stowe.

Hill AFB is one of a handful with the new F35's.That's Mineral Basin on any clear day. Bet Peruvian was ski-on or close to it.
A lot of extra aerial activity today at Alta. Helicopters are super common but more than usual and a sonic jet overhead (2nd time this season). ASSuming Ukraine/Russia conflict may have something to do with it, if anything just creating a larger presence on radar for Putin to see.
