I think its easier to go to a given resorts webpage and click on the little trail map icon. Why should I need to go to your site, find whatever resort Im looking for, then get a trailmap image?

Seems like there is no need for me to go there. And it sucks to scroll down anywhere to find what Im looking for.

Cool site, congrats on the venture. I like having that really quickly available.

A mobile app of this would be perfect (hint, hint)

try the resort search on the page - its the fastest way to locate a resort map

try to compare several resort maps by going to their individual websites and finding all the links, or just doing it really quickly here

im taking good notes on what to fix up and improve...keep it comin guys. this is very helpful.

Hmm..well I am semi fluent in app development...have tinkered around a little bit with app building. First things first, though.

Also, a web service so we could put some trail maps up here on our site

Do you have any copyright issues with using these maps?

How do I zoom in when the rendering on the map is fuzzy? Clicking on the full size doesn't seem to help much on my crappy work computer.

Nice site! Curious, as I clicked on the PDF links for the larger version maps, the new window is minimized without the option for full screen viewing. Is this normal or likely something with my computer settings?

Thanks!

thanks so far guys. very helpful.
few bugs I'll look into, some technical issues, a firefox issue, etc.

taking in all suggestions such as more stats, direct links to resort pages, etc. also understood that it looks distorted on mobile...that will be a later priority.

someone mentioned "list of states" should be "list of states/provinces" because Canada is covered. I can't actually fit the word "province" on the page so I'm not changing it... don't think anyone will actually be confused

bugs me that some places really have ugly ass maps:
http://trailmapcompare.com/kendall-trail-map

maps I need to update:
plattekill
sundown
burke
mt snow
magic
snowbird
sugarloaf

anything other ones?

That window shows up minimized for me too. Make that able to view full screen, zoom in and out would be nice too.

Nicely done. I'm adding this to my bookmarks to keep an eye on your progress.

One suggestion might be to add the area's url at the top of each map.
