The new Ghisallo collection from Hincapie Sportswear was developed to pay homage to the Giro di Lombardia, which marks the end of the European race calendar every autumn. Hincapie's Ghisallo jersey was designed to be an ultra-versatile, insulated short sleeve layer. Acting as a vest and jersey in one, it was constructed using Hincapie's BodE Thermal Heat stretch fabric. This material delivers a soft inner-lining that utilizes fleece fibers to accelerate moisture evaporation. The lining assists in wicking moisture to the quick-drying outer-surface. And not only does the fabric work to keep you dry, but the breathable design also maintains a consistent, insulated temperature for warmth. In fact, BodE Thermal Heat employs one of the heaviest knit structures in the Hincapie lineup in order to ensure heat retention. However, this is complemented by the outer-layer's Lycra and nylon-blended makeup. Accordingly, the jersey effectively wicks away moisture with its AcquaZero finishing treatment, which keeps you riding dry and at a consistent internal temperature.
The Ghisallo has a malleable, four-way stretch construction that conforms to the contours of your body. Finishing details include a full-length front zipper and light elastic treatments at the cuffs and hem. Three rear pockets were also added to the lower back panel for storing all of your ride essentials.
