Historical snowfall by resort

You've probably seen this one already, but I found it to be wicked cool when we compare historical trends at ski areas.

The idea that I can compare snow amounts day by day is amazing. It only goes back a few years, but it's been bookmarked. These consolidation sites are getting better.

This is really a useful tool to look at trends from year to year. I do wonder if their data is correct though. Total snowfall for each year looks a little low for some places to me but there are many variables.

It is cool, but totals do seem low, and they are based on calendar year, not seasonal. That's why the poor season of 2011-2012 doesn't look so bad.
