How I spent My Summer

I Did alot of sailing:
Crewed a delivery back from Bermuda aboard a Santa Cruz 52'
Picked up two new crew spots one on a Frers 33 the other on a C&C 25

Did some racing up in Newport, one weekend in June on the Santa Cruz 52 for NYYC annual Regatta and for four days in July on a Frers 33 for NYYC Race week. Raced Sonars up in Marblehead, MA for the Marblehead NOODS we had 45 boats on a starting line, pretty darn cool! Raced the Larchmont NOODS on the Frers 33 and took 1st overal in our division which got a write up in "Sailing World" magazine WAY Cool!, Not to mention the ownership of my own boat a sweet little day-sailer thats perfect for the Great South Bay.

So for this summer I've sailed five boats, done 63 races, won some, lost more, but learned a hell of alot, did 700 NM of ocean sailing, travelled to Bermuda for four days, jumped some cliffs, met some good people and continued many friendships...oh and my Girlfriend and I just got a place together...it's been pretty eventful...now to start rockin some turns in the fluffy white....bring on winter :)

Just want you to know, I HATE YOU!

Come to the dark side.

  1. Were any of the pilots you?
  2. Is that Ellenville?
  3. Is that from the top of the mountain?

Yes, the blue/teal/white glider with the maroon harness/helmet. (See Avatar)

Yes.

No. It's 900 feet above the valley floor, but about 500 below the very top of the ridge. Last night I made it 1500 feet above launch.
