Beautiful sunny day!!! All the local crew was out...
Snow softened nicely from the sun.. Got scraped in the afternoon when the sun went in....
Mountain was busy - there's some big tour groups here... No complaints.. Spend some $ in town!!!

Spent the morning with my nephew and a guy I know that got back from Afghanistan(USArmy) and his wife who was on her race board for the first time in 5 years.
Afternoon was out with my ski patrol friends bombing the hill

Looks like they are clearing the guns in some place for some snowmaking..

Great vid dmc! Just sad (to me anyway) how flat everything is and how groom-happy Hunter has become. Sounds like 180 isn't too happy about it either over on his powhound weather report...

I expect more bumps today with the warm weather..

Prune and Clairs could use some snowmaking love for sure.. I didn't hit Prune yesterday but heard it was a "rink" after Clairs softened it was pretty nice...

Agree- the need snow badly on Racers, Anna, Bleeker and Huega.

I heard that they did not plan on making any more snow in January, bacause business is down. Heard from employees, but not sure who they got the info from.

On the other hand the capital improvements fool most of the customers - ice house for the BBQ and ski chairs. Trying to copy Windham which has had these ammenties for years.

Blow some snow and work on the lifts.

I heard F had to be evacuated on Sunday - is that true???
