Decided to take a chance and head up there in spite of the crappy weather. Drove up in light rain, downpours, wet snow flurries..then crossed the magic line and it was snowing...Everything good was open and had the consistancy of cold..creamcheese..nice!. Racers edge was the run of the day with huge moguls..good workout! Hit everything, wayout was in good shape and got a look at Clairs with all the guns ready to go ..maybe for next weekend! very few on the hill..seemed like about 50 skiers and boarders..more boarders as they had a demo day. One guy was launching front flips off a huge spine in the middle of Racers that developed when they left a gun on over night. Temps stayed right around freezing but dropped each hour until I left at 1:30 when it was getting real firm. The irregular grooming and rainfall damage was getting hard to slam through...although my new Sultan 85's did great...most stable ski I have ever owned!! next weekend should be great as it will probably snow through the week as they blow!!! My Droid camera phone..doesn't take very good shots in the cold??
