FINALLY got out on my bike for real ride. Been wanting to get out since ski season ended but between nursing injuries and just being damn lazy I'm only now starting my summer MTB season.
Convinced Jake to go for a ride today and let him pick where. He opted for Huntington which was cool with me as it isn't terribly difficult and for a first ride of the season it was a good choice.
We took the casual blue trail up to the ruins in the north section of the park then looped back around on some twisty, rock gardeny single track. Caught the blue trail back down and then crossed over to the white trail around the lake and back to the parking lot. Little over 4 miles. worked up a good sweat, my shirt was soaked. Unbelievably buggy and stupid me didn't have any bug spray.
Here's the crankfire track.
