Good luck, I hope your family and rental make it through hurricane season without any problems.

I am watching this closely as we have a rental on Lido Beach (Sarasota county) and I have family in Bradenton (Manatee County) near the harbour. I will also be down there in August.

When I was in Sarasota last summer in August Charley was forcasted to hit Tampa. We were told to evacuate from Lido Beach. We did. It turned east and hit us where we evacuated to.

They say its going to be a busy hurricane season once again Not good news. I am waiting for one to come up to LongIsland. In 92 my wife and I went through Andrew in Miami we lost our car and our windows blew out in our place we were renting at the time. We would have lost the roof but we were on the first floor the apt above us had a new view after the storm.

I have a good friend who lives on the south Alabama coast below Mobile and they are mighty unhappy about Dennis. They got nailed last year by Ivan and there's still a lot of damage that hasn't been cleared yet. I don't believe he has to evacuate as he is about 5 miles inland, but falling trees and no power for several days is no fun, I'm sure.
