Can't wait to watch new trails added daily!

That's one of the few things I miss about being a pass holder at a major mountain; daily monitoring of the trail count going up during the early season. I still pay attention, but now that I spread things around over multiple areas, I don't have quite the same obsession with checking my 'home' mountain's daily snow report.

Overall, last year I definitely enjoyed being more of a homeless skiing whore and hope to be an even bigger whore this season . I like the variety and I can get out the same number of days for the same money as I'd pay for a pass, just got to poke around some for deals.

...but I know quite well the exact excitement you're talking about

Yeah, I'm thinking they'll try to get Conclusion ready for Saturday. Other places open? Cool. Double blacks, though? And 2 lifts spinning for top to bottom skiing?

I'm hoping there's more chest pounding on tap.

I'm betting SR will have two lifts (possibly 3) spinning for top to bottom by the weekend, Locke & Barker for sure, possibly SR quad as well. No double blacks though, unless they've been hammering Top Gun with snow (which I do not believe they have).

Likely blacks include: T2, Monday Morning, Right Stuff

I think Locke may not run if they get barker going. only thing they loose is upper t2 and the very top of upper sunday Punch. It will be interesting. yesterday they moved the dirt away from the chondola ,put the chondola cable on the ground and replaced the fan guns that were moved due to construction. No snow made at south ridge though yet. Dots are starting to get connected though. Rights stuff is getting snow made, ties into the snow being made on lower punch to get back to barker. Lazy river has snow being made on it. You have to go somewhere after Lazy River. Cascasdes give you another way down other than Sunday Punch. Can 't get conformation on Monday M.

Making snow on Skye right now. Might have K1, NRT, Snowdon Quad/Triple, AND Superstar going over the weekend!
