This is the first I have heard about it. If they did build it I would live there. :)

That jug-fock is purr-fect for Jersey. Normally, such a montrosity would be considered an eyesore. But look at the neighborhood. It appears Xanudu is seamlessly planned. I hope it has plenty of convenient parking for the Joeys' almost tempted to drive up north.

Word on the street is that Xanadu is supposed to open in 2006. Just think we'll be able to ski on snow in New Jersey all year long!

Plans show a chair lift, snow making, ski lodge, etc.

Here's info from Xanadu's website
Snow Dome: At approximately 140 feet tall and more than 250,000 square feet, this will be the first indoor snow sports facility in the U.S. The Snow Dome will offer visitors a year-round alpine experience, featuring varying slopes that will appeal to skiers of different skill levels and a separate area for snowboarding. It promises ski enthusiasts perfect ski conditions all year round, with real, high-quality snow and consistently cold temperatures.
A seperate area for snowboarding? Does this imply that snowboarders cannot be in the same place that skiers are? Just speculation...
