Interesting conversation in school today.

While I was standing in line today at school to get my late pass I over heard this:

Random girl: What happened to you?
(kid with bandaged arm standing behind me): I got shot in the arm, it kind of just skimmed my arm. A few of my friends got hit worse, if you see this other kid he has a bunch of bullet holes in his hood of his jacket.

That is just a paraphrase, and I missed a lot of the convo, but it was quite interesting to say the least. :-o

It was kind of funny actually because the kid was talking about it like it was big deal at. Maybe everyone around here gets shot once or twice in their life so it isn't really a big deal...(I love Lynn)

My sympathies

This is Darwin's Wife posting under Darwin's name. From a woman that works in the Diamond District of Lynn in a residential facility for adolescents - (not nearly as glamourous as it sounds). MY SYMPATHIES - Sincerely. BUT GOOD FOR YOU for not succumbing to the THUG life or mentality. For those of you that are not aware of this particular area, it's not worth even exploring. Keep skiing - stay outdoors. And... Don't be late for school. Darwin's wife
