One of my best trips ever. No true powder but a few days had some moderate snow (2-6"/day) at the top and light rain at the bottom. Doesn't sound that good but the mountain had plenty of coverage and got nice and soft throughout the day. The lack of light powder kept the locals away and the lift lines short. All sorts of conditions - corn, fresh, crud, bumps, slop. You just had to know where to go. In other words, really good spring conditions with temps generally getting close to 40. Sometimes the overlooked Apres Vous lift was best. Other times the north facing chutes were in great shape. Hobacks were a blast - never skied them faster. My wife even managed her first double diamond on Paintbrush.

Plenty of snow on the mountain but the valley was melting fast. When we arrived, the Moose preserve was covered in snow. When we left, it was covered in water. Much better than the East where we're experiencing one of the warmest winters ever.
