I thought I read somewhere that Sugarbush will announce whether they'll open for the weekend on Thursday. Stein's is buried. If they could provide Bravo access via the VH Traverse and Coffee Run, they could do it. Even those trails had 18"+ pretty much last Friday.

Just got an email from them and Sugarbush is done for the season.

website says 4 hours from hartford. Anyone done the trip from that area?

I did it once a few years back from NYC going through Hartford. That sounds about right from Hartford. I think it took us roughly 6.5 hours to Jay, and NYC to Hartford is roughly about 2.5.

turning and burning bro. I need closure. The lack of bumps at snow left me with an appetite for more.

Jet and Haynes and really nice trails when bumped up. They usually get mowed flat except for under the chair on Jet. Should be some phenomenal bump skiing pending a good corn up. I imagine they will need to push some snow around to ensure continuous snow to the lift. Very surprised to see Jay aiming to take last to close in VT and second to last overall. That is quite notable given the other players and snow coverage at other areas.

Quite notable considering how Jay usually doesn't stay open such late season due to the lack of people. Very respectable in my book.

hmmm, Jay's conditions report page now reflects uncertainty about the weekend but the timestamp at the top is from the day before yesterday. Looks like they might have inadvertently replaced newer info with old. Headsup steve@jpr ...

Meanwhile, Sugarloaf reports up to 8" of new snow at higher elevations and trail count has jumped from 6 to 24. Damn, wish I could teleport myself there for a few runs at lunchtime.

Sorry--looks like there was bug that kicked back to Monday's report. We're still running this weekend. 2" overnight. We'll post some pics later today. I'm guessing the Bush will run too given how much snow they still have left.

Agreed. Bush'll be equally good (if not better than what we'll be offering) this weekend...
does not matter where you go, just suport those who stepped to the plate to offer us another fun weekend.
