Conditions: soft snow, sunny & blue skies, temperature around 55 degrees.

I got the chance to ski Jay Peak on Friday. Started on stateside taking the Bonaventure Quad and skiing down Northway to Angel's Wiggle back to the base only to realize that to get to the Jet triple was to walk down and cross the bridge. After doing several runs (2 hrs) on the Jet and Haynes trail, I headed over to tramside. There was coverage so you could ski from the top of the Jet over to the base area at tramside. I spent time there going from the top of the Flyer via Alligator Alley to Exhibition or Green Mountain Boys. I closed out the day back alternating between the Jet and Haynes.

I was happy that I went on Friday. Saturday was cooler and Sunday we had rain & some mixed snow in Derby, VT.

I posted 5 pics (the limit on tapatalk)
1. riding the Bonnaveture Quad
2. the view from the Northway trail
3. Check out the blue!
4. It was hell on my rock skis - I found some boulders!
5. Looking up the Haynes trail
