Jay Peak - Nov 6th

Conditions were crappy compare to last week's unexpected 8-10in... Jay received snow thru the week... but it rained on friday... things were "interesting"... hard pack... very hard pack...

Day 3 on the slopes of Jay this year already... first time to the summit... I've never ridden this much before the season's stard and not done the Jet... it's normally the first one i ride... and last one as well... Compare to a lot of places, i was able to ride top (very top) to the bottom of the Northway.

Well, I am glad I went lift serviced on Sunday due to your report. But your description does not match up with how good pic 1 looks! Looks a lot better than it skied, it seems?

I know... i look at that picture and all i want to do is ride... but then, my feet remember how shaky everything was... so shaky that i stopped half way down to walk a bit to relieve the pressure! Trust me, they did get some rain on friday (and today apparently... they had snow in the forecast...)

Rock solid on top
Crusty at mid-mountain
Somewhat less present at the bottom...
