Resort or Ski Area: Jay Peak
Conditions: powder / packed powder ending with all powder
Trip Report: Four absolutely perfect days - blue skies, moderate temps, minimal winds. Groomed trails a little icy in spots, but woods, while fairly packed out, generally fairly soft thru the day. Four to six inches Thursday night & snow throughout the day Friday, heavy at times, led to a final day of powder bliss. Increasing winds thru the day closed the tram, flyer, & finally bonaventure lifts by 1 pm. Hard to believe you can spend a week and never ski a groomed run except to get to the woods!
