Our trip to NH was bagged for various reasons so I decided to earn some turns on the snowboard for the first time. Hiked up Jericho in Marlborough Ma on Monday. Jericho was the first place i skied it had a rope tow and T bar until the late 80's now it is a rec area where people sled.
Did 4 "runs" of about 10-12 linked turns each, but hey it was powder. The walk up was tough after the 3rd run but worth it. Some sledding teenagers gave me a hard time when they saw me walking up "don't bite it old man" but on the way down they were impressed.
Drove by later and my tracks were the only ones from the top.
I'll do it again if we are home during a storm.

Hey, that's right near me. I should check that hill out.

On Tuesday, I did something almost identical over at Westboro Country Club on Rte. 30. There's a really good sledding slope there, with a nice open open hill to the right. Not very much pitch, but great exercise.
