Jiminy peak mar-4-08
Weather: cool, cloudy, rain after noon.
Conditions: wet gran, loose gran. Some slick spots
Report: after some major slacking early this morning ( IE check weather, calling some co-workers) I went up to jiminy peak, we knew it would rain later in the day, weather.com was calling for rain after noon so the plan was get in some good skiing in the morning, and that’s just what we did. Non stop top to bottom with out stopping racking in some big vert. fox, north glade, white tail turkey almost every trail was skied. Stayed on the 6 pack for all but one run off the Q-3 quad. Around 11;30 a brief shower passed tho’ then cleared out for another good 40 min, when it started to rain quite hard. Did one more run down upper exhibition which was in rough shape, but some good snow was found and offered a good challenge, leaving me to want to ski it again, oh well next time!
MOGUL REPORT:
Jericho and white tail had some decent bumps on the skiers left, whietail’s were the best, while they weren’t seeded, they were still in good shape and lent down the majority of the trail.
