Killington 12/13/06

Snow -10, Terrain - 10, lift Lines - 10, Weather - 1, Lunch 10
Great Terrain. Not a K regular so I am shaky on the Trail names, but by far has to be the best stuff in the east at this stage of the game! Primarily three great runs - Cascade to East glade to East Fall, Highline (I think - some thin cover bumped up trail), off Snowdon (had it to ourselves), and Superstar Headwall to Sylark (again I think - had thin cover and had it to ourselves!!!!! Get up there before the weekend for some great stuff!!!!!!!!!! Starterd at 9:00. Finished (exhausted) by 1:30. Long Trail BreweRy for Lunch!

Thanks for the report. Hope it holds up, plan on being there Saturday and Sunday. Is that you in the pic? What kind of skis you on? They look like my Metrons

My son in the pic. I still kick his ass on the hill however. He's just getting back into it and picked up some Dynastars from a friend, didn't look at the model. Snow was holding up great despite the rain. I'm always in green top, black LLBean pants, Blueish Lange 120's a couple years old, and Atomic R9's. Keep posting. I listen to what you and a couple others write on KZone, too much fluff over there however..........I might be up on Friday the 22nd to ski K once more before the holidays, got another free ticket I got to use up.................Love to ski with some of you "Zoners", or at least share a gondi ride.................

Do you post on Kzone? You gotta stop by the 10 AM meeting when your up there, believe it or not, they're actually a good group of people.

I'd like to chime in today about that idiot that forgot his stuff up there! But I was brought up to just shut-up if you have nothing good to say.........
I'll definitely stop by the "meeting" place when I go up next Friday. I have no doubts you guys are crazy fun...................I think I may have been next to Zoners in the lodge and maybe even on the lift without realizing it in the past. Maybe I'll post Thursday to see what other Zoners may be around.

Probably won't find anyone there at 10 on a Friday. Saturday and Sunday are your best bet.

A post or PM arranges for the meeting place. We don't have a set one yet for AZ, but KZ has one.

KZone is a forum specific to Killington and people that post to that forum are there on a regular basis. This makes having a regular meeting spot much easier. AlpineZone covers the northeast, and people here are more spread out. That makes it more difficult for a regular meeting spot.
