After the report by ALLSKIING yesterday I figured K would be good. Stopped at Skyeship at 7:45 and got on an early gondi with a plan. There was no wind and it remained below freezing all day. I wanted to get the goods so I headed to the Needles Eye area. Took (2) runs down Needles Lift line and (4) down Vertigo. Both were untracked and in great shape! Had them to myself for the first few. Headed over to Superstar chair via Bittersweet. No lines and got right on a lift with no wait! That was the theme for the day. Good crowd but no lines! Saw Ovation was open so headed right off the Superstar Quad. Oh my God! Ovation headwall is doable! My first time ever! Piles of snow down left side of Upper/Middle Ovation. Plenty of coverage on the lower headwall also, did that like four times jumping in Old Superstar on top for a couple.
It was now about 10:15 so I headed up Snowdon Quad to check it out. Did Patsy’s. Ended up on the Snowdon Triple, went up and did Royal Flush. Went in for a couple brews and slice of Pizza at 11:00. Back out at 11:30. Went up the K1 for my only ride on it all day. No line. Hit Catwalk, Powerline, Coops, Chop Shop, Racers Edge, Big Dipper, etc.... Started working my way back hitting nowhere woods and finally lapping Needles Eye a few times. Snow was still fresh on Needles Eye under the Gondi. Headed out about 2:30. Conditions were great! Last storm definitely was a win for K. Great to be there on a weekend and have some space. Never went to Rams Head or Bear. Every trail I did was worth it. There were all types of conditions, but plenty of snow to find! Killington is an awesome hill!
I'll post some pictures tomorrow morning.

Was nice! Got lucky!
Owe it all to ALLSKIING. Was leaning toward using my freebie at Stratton. Glad I went to K!
They seem to have a really good solid base everywhere!
There was more than normal groomed from what the regulars were saying. Superstar was mostly all groomed flat, and Needles too, but I found plenty of natural!
