A pleasant surprise with wonderful skiing!! So much snow still left! Now is Mogul time!!!

Tuesday began with soft snow everywhere so the morning was awesome! Moguls on Downdraft and Escapade were sweet!! Ovation and Flume were an added bonus!

Today was totally different with superfirm conditions which delayed the opening of the canyon area until about 11:30 with the exception of East Fall which of course was wonderful. We headed toward Superstar and Skyelark which were crisp but enjoyable. Our treat of the day was upper Skyeburst, nice and soft, Needle's Eye Middle and Upper with super-soft moguls. More great moguls on Mid Vertigo! The mountain opened the old Great Eastern trail so that we were able to return to the Superstar quad since no lift was operating at Needle's Eye. The sun was bright and the temps stayed in the mid-forties until about 1 when we called it a day.

I was there yesterday (17th) and the conditions were excellent, bluebird day. Tons of snow, great bumps, Ovation was definitely a highlight of the day. Haven't had such a nice spring skiing day in years and years. Killington delivered the goods yesterday big-time.

The only bad spot was the bar tender at the umbrella bar at the base of Superstar. Tall older guy, was down right rude to us when we came in for a beer after calling it a day about 3 pm.
