Spring skiing bumps paradise. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

It's amazing what they have for coverage. Superstar and the gondola beside it were open. It rained hard last night but had little effect on the hill. Temps got up to about 70 and it was sweet.

Here's a view of the hill first thing in the morning.

It cleared up nicely

This trail got my award for best bumps, but Superstar was close

Now don't take a right off the Superstar lift and expect to get anywhere

and if you take this from the top of the gondola, it takes you back to Superstar

now unfortunately, all this fine snow didn't come without a cost to the area:

Taking the right off the SS Quad is Nivis Walk, and it lets you access the Ovation Headwall, along with Mid-Ovation and Old Superstar. (Old Superstar is an awesome trails). The thing off the K-1 that takes you back to where Nivis Walk comes down is Launchpad.

This isn't really to you, but to anyone who has skied there recently...has GE/Snowshed Crossover melted out already?, or are they just not leaving that route open to the public?

Hey!

I was there yesterday and remember seeing you. You were the other guy in an orange jacket!

As someone that doesn't ski moguls, yesterday was tough-stuff but the weather and views were amazing.

It was my first time at Killington in over a decade and it was kind of depressing to see how run-down the place looks.

Uh huh.. same can be said for all of their resorts, outside of maybe SR... this is why everyone is looking so much to new owners!

Oh, I thought that was just rustic...

Frankly, I'm happy as long as the lifts turn, the snow is there, and I can find a way to get a day off while find a way to get a break on my lift pass.

btw the person in the orange jacket was my kid, I had the rasta-colors teeshirt & no jacket
