Arrived at 10am to Bear and Wildfire/Bear Claw was open and nice. Freshly blown snow with great conditions. Outer Limits was bare but the guns are ready to go, tonight or tomorrow I would expect.

Did some runs at Bear and shredded the skiers left on Wildfire which was starting to get bumped up. It was great.

Went over to Needle's Eye which really sucked. Most of that part of Killington is closed, but the green trail down, which was brown in places.

Had lunch.

Headed to the peak via the gondola. Peak had lighter snow since it was colder and hadn't melted in the 40 degrees over at Bear. Single line of little bumps on the top of double-dipper were really good - but short. Snow was decent, carvable all around.

Escapade, a NATURAL ski trail, was actually decent. A little more snow on that and it will be really good. But even today it was ok. A few little bumps and then some brown and more rocks.

Overall, I think the Killington snowmakers did a great job. Tomorrow should be good but they will probably be out to mow stuff, so bring your all-mountain fatty's out and rip it up.

Peace
