The conditions were spring like today. Fun day. Only thing that wasn't but I am used to at Kmart was the human factor. I had someone who must have been skiing right on my butt that was so close when he fell he landed on the back of my skis. Also had some snowboarder actually boarded right across the back of my skis while I was still getting back together and talking to the guy after the he crashed into the back my skis

I agree... There was some fairly insane behavior that I saw out there today... mostly the teenager crowd, but some adults as well. WAY too much speed in slow zones and cutting things super close to other people. It was an unfortunate thing to have to deal with on an otherwise nice day.

Ill second that. I lapped Bunny Buster to Mouse Trap to lower Chute. Mouse Trap softened up and the sides of lower Chute were ungroomed. A couple of decent lines formed on both during the day.

The only thing was that Mouse Trap was getting a little narrow for the traffic it was seeing in the afternoon...

Yeah it was way too fast for the crowd. When I was there on Saturday I also noticed a fair amount of stray snowboards flying down the mountain without anyone attached to them. I'm surprised Vermont doesn't have a leash law for snowboarders like Massachusetts. I had an incident years ago at Belleyare mountain where I hit by a stray board right above my boot. Had a pretty gnarly gash from it. Even funnier, right before this happened when I was getting off of the lift, the operator confiscated my pole because the basket had fallen off, saying it could be used as a weapon. But a snowboard flying down a hill at 50mph is alright. Pretty dangerous if you ask me.
