Snow was good again today, Thanksgiving, at K. It was a little scratchy in spots, but there was fresh snow on all the trails. I'm guessing 3 inches since yesterday afternoon. We skied the Glades triple early in the day, which was dust on crust in the middle of the trails, but nice fluffy snow on the sides. Upper dipper and lower catwalk were great as very few people were skiing them.
In the late morning, we ventured over to Snowdon where we rode the Poma up and hit Bunny Buster which was great. Lots of soft snow. Then we hit Snowdon quad, where Chute and Great Bear were awesome. The man made snow was very carvable on Chute and Great Bear had some nice natural snow bumps.
Oh yeah I forgot Highline was very nice with soft manmade as the guns were blowing and lots of natural pushed over on the skiers right.
There were no lines. Well okay maybe 2-5 minutes at the gondola, but I suspect big lines the next two days there with all the snow around New England. Not sure which will be more chaotic the mall or the slopes.
Happy Thanksgiving.
