killington to start making snow oct 26 or shortly after that

I heard from a rep from K. Oct 26 is the earlierst snow making to start. Ready to go it will take around 5 hours to get the system on line. Wait and see thurs or soon after.

I agree...let's keep our fingers crossed. Cold rain so far...hopefully one of the last cold rains of the year! WCAX was forecasting a rain/snow mix for today and tomorrow up here. Not quite cold enough for snow and ground is really warm still. Has been a cool/cold fall up here--no complaints mind you! If all goes well, in under 20 days it will be ski season for Trailboss!!!!!

I guess it snowed at my place Friday night. I did not make it up till sat, it was all gone. The tops of all the mountains had snow on them in the Whites.

It snowed here at work for about a half hour this morning, then changed back to rain. It won,t be long now!!! We are at about 500 feet elevation. Maybe the mountains are staying all snow!! :daffy:
