Rolled into bay1 around 12 after picking up my pass...There was a decent crowd for a monday this early in the season. Total bluebird day Temps in the mid 40s. My friend Mike and I started with a run down Rime...Nice first run of the season! Met up with ALLSKIING and did a bunch of runs...Eastfall..Double Dipper....Powerline...Ridge run..Snow was almost springlike conditions with the sun and warm temps. Hit downdraft but other than that sticked to the open stuff.. Nice but short bump line formed on lower Rime,,,Hit that a few times....Ran into Ozzy and Slopes from Kzone .... Took GN to the bottom instead of the staircase and we were harassed by a (looked like a snowmaker
on a sled ) about being on a closed trail....Was sketchy with a lot of rocks and shit exposed...First time I ever poached GN !...Guns were set up on lower GN waiting for the cold temps to return. Great first day of the season!

Some silver Wrangler with black rims had the gaul to park next to my FJ in Bay 1.

I took downdraft all the way down to the Canyon runout as my last run to avoid the walkway. I thought Ridge Run was skiing nicely on only natural snow.

This (11-1) was my first time to Killington (besides being a 7 year old) and it was an absolute blast. My buddy and I didn't have work due to no power, so we rolled in there around 8:30 and were making tracks a bit after 9:00. Skied until 3 and left. Well worth the drive and $.

I also wanted to post that it was amazing how much work was done in there area after Irene! Besides looking off from the road, it doesn't even look like a Tropical Storm/Hurricane even rolled through there. Great job everyone that has had a hand in fixing the main roads up there.
