Both the KTV headlight and taillight are housed in new vertically oriented housings machined from lightweight aluminum, which serve to both dissipate heat more effectively to preserve battery life and also dramatically boosts the lights' durability compared to plastic housings that are much more common at this price point. In the case of the headlight, the vertical housing configuration also allows for the installation of the light virtually anywhere on the handlebar without interfering with cables that run over the top of the bar. The lights' bottoms are both easily removable to reveal the flip-out USB bit by which the lights charge, and the silicone strap by which they both mount means you can install them virtually anywhere you'd like on your bike.
