Liberty University Christian college in Lynchsburg Virginia is building the 1st snowflex ski/boarding slope in the US. The original announcement of this project was one of the last things Jerry Falwell did before he died a couple of years ago. I think the project is costing $1.7 million.

That would be a cool way to get some runs in during the warmer months.

Hooray, another thread turned into a bump hijack!

But at least that half-pipe looks small to medium sized.

the demo video only had 1 bump skier. Not getting nearly as much attention as the pipe and booter

Neat. I recall skiing on that stuff in Scotland. If you fall, it hurts like a bit^& though!

Looks cool for the jibbers.....not so sure about the bumps....I think they'd tend to be the hard/icy kind....who knows. Does look cool!

I'm trying to figure out what kind of snowboards they are using here. Looks like those cheap all plastic models made for kids.
