I love liftlines. I don't think atkinson will mind if I poach his pic. This is a great shot of the Castlerock Liftline:

Droolage. :-o I've only skied it once and it humbled me. I need to get up there this season and redeem myself.

Post your pics of your favorite liftlines in this thread. I have a bunch I'll dig up later.

Wow! The pic is amazing with the contrast between the rimed trees, the deep blue sky and the moon. Let alone Liftline in all its glory!

Happy to say that I've skied it too many times to count and it remains my favorite trail to this day. It's also Egan's favorite trail, if that means anything to you.

Get on it!

John

Sweet pic indeed! That looks REALLY steep, enough to make me think twice about hitting it.

Interestingly, that pic makes it look a bit steeper than it really is. Most times with a 2D photograph, it's the other way around. Just goes to show John did a nice job taking that photo. The top 1/3 is steep with a brutal double fall line and several rocks to navigate. I gaped my way down it in 2005. I need to redeem myself.

I remeber that too---I tried finding them to post here but had no luck. If you ever get the chance to ski it you really should I think you'd like it.

Greg you bastard! Now I am itching to ski so badly! You're killing me. Great pics of liftline, love that trail (even if I have skied it only twice).

And finally, you can't have a liftline appreciation thread without Chute at MRG or Redline at Magic, can you?

Misery Whip is an appropriate name. You have to make a lot of turns in that tight bowling alley. My quads are aching thinking about last March on that run.

Sadly, I think Chute at MRG and Liftline at BEast are the only liftlines I've ever skied...
