Using a neoprene padding over the knuckles and wrist, the gloves receive a good amount of insulation that extends over the back of the hands as well. The end result of this insulation layer is twofold -- it keeps your hands both warm and protected. The padded neoprene doesn't just insulate, but it also protects against the wind and rain. For the liner, a breathable fabric has been implemented to transfer moisture and heat away from your hands. And to keep your hands in place on the bars, silicone gripper across the upper palm provides stability as you send the trail through the crisp air.
The hook-and-loop closure seals out the elements by resting high on your wrist. This way, there's never a gap between your jacket and your gloves. Lizard Skins also included a terry cloth wipe at both thumbs to keep the sweat out of your eyes and the mud off of your face.
