First day of the year for me. Weather was beautiful clear with temps in the high 40s in the sun. Snow varied greatly depending on if it was in the sun or shade from spring skiing to frozen hardpack. Walking Boss was in shade all day, and parts of other trails never got sun due to their winding layout. Looked like they messed up snowmaking last night on Flume as trees along the trail were covered with ice, and a lot of branches were breaking due to the weight. There still is some natural snow on the ground up top to at least make it look like winter, but anything below 2000' was bare except for snowmaking. First day on my new Brahmas so I skied slow mostly to be very careful not to ding them up. Will have to wait for better conditions for me to give a full review of them, but so far so good.

I was at Loon yesterday. Guns were going all day on Flume, very wet, and it looked like more snow was going into the woods than on the trail. Skiing was good though, with around 4 inches up top and spring conditions in the lower third. Poor pic of flume snowmaking cloud.
