Flew Jet Blue Friday 8pm and got to Denver around midnight. Skied Loveland Saturday, A Basin Sunday, Loveland Monday. Left Monday night around 11PM and got back to Boston at 5AM. 3 days skiing only one day missed of work. Very efficient usage of my time. Also very cheap. Was able to buy tickets in the parking lot all 3 days for a total of $90.
Mixed sun and clouds Saturday and Sunday. Temps just above freezing. All sun Monday but cold. They seem to have more snow than when I went to Telluride in March. Surface conditions varied from boiler plate to hard pack to slush to 3 inches of powder for Monday. Not the best spring weather but good enough
Very much worth going. Loveland closes May 2nd. A Basin who knows. If your interested in going check Jet Blue's web site. I booked 3 weeks ago and paid $240 for a non stop flight. They seem to change prices daily. Everything else do last minute.
