I can't believe they didn't even finish the Triple Crown. Disappointing at best.

Due to the safety of the mountain we are also discouraging people from hiking.

it has gotta be bad for them to include that blurb. things are looking bleak for the weekend, but it seems there is still a long shot. $109 for a mad pass down the drain.

the vertical challenge on the other hand absolutely needed to be cancelled. there is no way they could have people skiing top to bottom under the single if they are looking at probably not even opening the mountain. it really really sucks, but they would have to change the very nature of the challenge in order to run it, pending they even open on what limited snow they still have. stick a fork in this one.

Mad river glen has decided to stay closed for the weekend, but they do plan to reopen next weekend if they get more snow before then. Jay peak is apparently honering MRG season passes with a "$29 lift ticket" detailes at Madriverglen.com
