Brought my son to the SVC J4 race at Magic on sunday. Meet Roark aka "Hot Rod" about 8 in the lodge. Still the red chair was down so it was a day of doing laps on the black chair. They had just about everything groomed and that was a good thing. They skiing was marvolous as long as you didn't venture off the groomed surface as the ungroomed had a heavy semi breakable crust. We skied everything saw both my son's runs shuttled coats and skis and Hot Rod got his first experience at slipping a full length SL, he was complaining about how tired his legs were and could understand his wifes (must be a snowplower) complaints. They actually had lines up to half an hour. It was a good day for Magic.

meh, still better than being a 'spandex twin'. Harley recongnized me and called me 'hot rod'. I'm sure I'm not the only one he's used that name with.

Groomed conditions at Magic were the best I've ever seen. Up Your Sleeve > Vertigo was sensational. Venturing off the groomed was not recommended.

I saw lots of day tickets and rentals out on Sunday, which is a very welcome thing. While I'm not used to waiting in lines at Magic it's good to see a little money coming in.
