They deserve the business they're getting. Service has been great at Sunday River -- friendly and helpful staff in the lodges and the inns, aggresive snowmaking and opening, reaching out to members of the ski community. Despite the warm-up and freeze cycle, I'm confident that the mountain will recover quickly. Like what I said in another thread, based on what I've seen this year at the River, I have faith in it!

I am fairly sure that you could add Saddleback to this thread as well since they where more crowded after Christmas than I have ever seen before, even more so than when they had free skiing on closing day last April.

Not only did the ski area's do well, but the Maine economy was greatly enhanced with the copious amounts of snow that allowed for great snowmobiling conditions to exist. Last year was more or less a disaster, so it's good to see thing come back this year.

I have my fingers crossed for a good President's Week.
