First time I've Donovan without a smile on his face. Shame, they have said his days were numbered here in Philly, can see it now. Expect to see him in either as a Viking or Bear next year. The Iggles will be worse for it.

I truely think that the beginning of the end for McNabb all started when he :puke: on the field in the final minutes of the superbowl against the Patriots. He just hasn't been the same since that game IMHO.

IMO...

Andy Reid needs to go...

Fire Andy Reid ASAP and make Jim Johnson the interem head coach...
There's a LOT of teams who have interviewed Jim Johnson for their head coaching positions the past 3 years or so and he's been offered the job on at least one occasion and turned it down because he wanted to remain with the Eagles..
Give him the chance to do something.... worst case scenario he loses every single game this season and you keep him asd a Def. Coordinator. and hire a new head coach with a new system.

Keep McNabb.. he needed the benching for sure as he's just plain sucked the past few games. Overall in his career he's been better than average for sure. Sure he throws balls into the dirt, and does some stupid crap here and there... All QB's do it.. Favre who is respected as one of the best QB's of all time is known for being reckless with the ball.. McNabb is known for throwing it into the dirt.. So be it... Keep McNabb and toss him on the bench.... Get Kolb into these last remaining meaningless games and see what kind of player he is... If things don't work out, you got McNabb sitting there.
Letting McNabb go would be completely stupid at this point. The eagles should know this already though... they let a QB go years ago when he was playing like crap.. He went on to play a starting roll with the Vikings and had a few more successfull seasons along with a former Eagles wide receiver by the name of Cris Carter...
If McNabb was let go today he could easily become the next Randall Cunningham and go on to be successfull with either the Vikings or the Bears (most likely Chicago as he has ties there).

JMO... at this point playoff hopes are pretty much non-existant so start planning for the future of the franchise by letting go Reid and seeing what Kolb is all about..
Throwing Kolb into the game at halftime against one of the best defenses in the NFL was like throwing him to the wolves.. Not an excuse for his poor game play as any player on that bench needs to be ready to step in and play at any given time..
I would not use that game as a comparison for what kind of QB Kolb could or couldn't be though..

But nothing will change for now... Reid has already announced he's starting Donavan on Thursday and even if they win... it's meaningless.... this season is done... as is Andy Reid's career in Philadelphia... it's just a matter of time and when Banner decided to get some nuts..
