Meriden MTn Top Ridge 7-19

Met up with Grassi and o3jeff around 11:30...3 Jeep Wranglers and 3 Radical dudes. Did the uphill to the roundhouse fairly quick then proceded to the goatpath for the hike a bike part..Pretty damn hot out was definately sweating my rocks off. Once we made it to the radio towers it was fun as hell!! Pretty much DT rockgardens the rest of the way and a few switchbacks over the powerlines. Heard a yell from Chris and we stopped come to find out he OTbd..but no major injuries..A few major mud puddles that we went around and one I just had to blast thru at the last second....Made it back to the lot around 1:45 Think we did around 9 miles or so Jeff said.. Nice riding with you guys!!!

the hike a bike was tough but i kinda enjoyed the challenge. next time out my goal is to hike to the top w/out stopping. fun place. lots of rocky dh which i like. jeff has def kicked up his wind. i have some work to do...

I post up the track and info tonight when I get home. I think Topofusion(what I download the track to) should have a way that I can figure out the length of the hike portion.

no real need for the hike info. just curious. some of the family at the bbq were asking me about my ride. i guessed we covered a total of 7 or 8 miles total.
