Can anyone shed some light on this trail that seems to diverge west off of the Mittersill Access Trail at Cannon? Is it a hiking trail? Seems very open near the top . . .

You're not going to want to hit that without a knowledgable buddy and two cars. Ask around next time you're at Cannon and maybe someone will take you.

Edit- or you can just hike up it like Snowmonster.

you used to be able to tell a liftie that you needed to get in touch with ski patrol 63 and a van would pick you up... but that was 15 years ago...

Tuckerbrook. Not up on your ski history, clearly.

Not sure if you're being funny, but I had no clue about Tuckerbrook either. FYI even though Cannon does have the ski museum, it is not for most people the center of the skiing universe. Also, I would bet that at one point in time you had to ask somebody about it or were told about it in passing. It's better that he asked then go it alone or without knowledge.

Pretty mellow and hard to get lost. Decent glades on the sides. Fun. Drop a car.
