If this looks like other industries, it's not. Passenger (consumer) vehicle sales world wide is very big money. Big profits to those who have a piece of the awesome sauce pie.

In the early 2,000s Big Rigs went through a government forced change, adding a mixture to exhaust. To capture carbon from exhaust. Mercedes Benz (Freightliner) mastered the technology first and took market share from Mack, Peterbilt, and other American manufacturers.
Same thing here...

Opening at $11.67 in New York. How low can it go. With all the "AI" talk these days it's important to remember Many of the trades with Ford stock are computer driven. After the melt down of stocks in the 1980's there was a need to halt trading if major indexes fell "X" amount in a set time frame.

At the end of the day people will look at the trades as they settle. It's funny that when I hit "post reply" this post will be "read" by many algorithms set up to data mine the internet. If there is a super computer that can make any sense from this thread... (there isn't)

Meanwhile, FORD Germany ADRs are down 0.05 to close at 10.75 Euro.

Ford (F) up 0.950000

Ford ADR Germany 10.950000

Looks like this move could hold. For the momentum investors (the market timers) this could be the start of a nice climb.

Or, as we say in the mountains, another false summit.

The Dow Jones Industrials are up, if the political headwinds are calming (wars in the far east and Eastern Europe, et al. This is important, below is a list of the top 30 companies of the Dow Jones and where they stand as of 9:45 AM Eastern...

Of the 30 only half are actually manufacturers. Banks (financial services), Technology and Insurance are recent changes. This depicts how the economy of the United States has changed.

There is a obvious correlation between The Dow and Ford.

I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality
I wasn't born so much as I fell out
Nobody seemed to notice me
We had a hedge back home in the suburbs
Over which I never could see
I heard the people who lived on the ceiling
Scream and fight most scarily
Hearing that noise was my first ever feeling
That's how it's been all around me
I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality
I'm all tuned in, I see all the programmes
I save coupons from packets of tea
I've got my giant hit discoteque album
I empty a bottle and I feel a bit free
The kids in the halls and the pipes in the walls
Make me noises for company
Long distance callers make long distance calls
And the silence makes me lonely
I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality
And it's not here
It disappeared
I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality
