Trip Report:
My first ever international skiing... decided on Orford because they were only charging $10 for a ticket. Really only had 2 full runs open, but good enough for a couple hours of skiing. Don't remember any trail names but they had 1 run open from the summit (trail looped around to the right, under the lift, then headed down from there... I think it was trail #5 on the map) that was pretty scraped on the steeps, but excellent snow everywhere else. Tons of snowmaking on the main mountain. On the quad on the left-mountain, they also had one full run from there which was much of the same. A lot of people poaching closed runs as they had a lot of snow, but figured since I don't know an ounce of French that I didn't want to have to explain myself to ski patrol if I got caught lol.
Anyway... it was a fun time. Looks like a great mountain overall, gotta take a trip to all the Eastern Township mountains sometime.
