So much for the ra^&. We have high winds here at Burke. Summit Quad is down, but the Poma and Lower HSQ is serving up some buttery grooming and some great soft woods and bump runs. Well worth the gamble this AM.

Snowpack is holding up well. I don't think we will come out too badly...from what I have been seeing up high, there is just clouds, wind, and fog and it is not eating up the snow too badly.

These are the conditions for the NEK of VT. I'm not too sure what is going on elsewhere in the NE.

I skied at Shawnee Peak this morning and the snow was awesome. Nice soft buttery turns. The only problem was that the fog was so thick you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you. I still had a good time though. I think we will be ok from this weather as far as snow melt because of the snow depths, but it probably will get icy after the temp drops.
