Hey all - Hope all is well in the eaast. I currently live in Colorado but am moving to the Burlington, VT Area. I was wondering, what resort would be the best to buy a season pass. Looking for some tough terrain (more blacks the merrier) and lots of trails within an hour of Burlington.

Peace and Panic.

from your description, you're probably looking at jay peak, smuggs, stowe, or maybe whiteface (NY). i think other major areas would be more than an hours drive and/or not offer up the challenge you seem to be looking for. coming from out west, i'm sure you'd be most at home at jay (most powder any where in the east, most say best trees too).

Killington?

You could go for a Killington/Pico season pass. I know they're reasonable for students, not sure how they are otherwise.
