Looks like some kind of parachuting thing.

I will say, from_the_NEK that Burke is a hotspot for people doing paragliding/whatever it is called. Had one guy land in my yard a few years back!!!

That is outfreakingrageous, I would most definetly not have the nads to try something like that. Got to love that helmet cam as well

I've seen both hang-gliders and Para-gliders come off of Burke. But the stuff on the website in question is far from the peaceful cruising that the gliders around Burke are doing. These guys are skimming inches over the surface at very high rates of speed. one mess up where they get a ski hung up on a rock and they are dead.
