Another nice November ski day at Mount Snow. Same trails as the day before, and everything got some snowcat love overnight with mothernature kicking in with an inch or so of natural in a Friday night squall A VCunning siting + older son was also had mid morning on Mineshaft Late Morning the great blue helmeted snowmakers started firing up guns on Ridge + Meadow + Cooper's Junction and the Superpipe and a small portion of Upper Overbrook right above the unloading terminal of the Canyon Quad. After the lifts stopped spinning, Snowdance, Upper Canyon, Deer Run and Inferno had the fanguns turned on, and all the lights of the fanguns really added to the viewing pleasure of both the torchlight parade and the fireworks that occurred after the lifts closed.
Much larger crowd today than yesterday, and the opening of Ridge/Meadow tommorrow will definately help ease the non-park terrain density.
Some Pics:
Lighting up the fanguns on Ridge late Morning
Lighting up the Fanguns on Sundance by the top of the Tumbleweed Triple
Canyon Quad Line just after the 1/2 tickets went on-sale
