Ski Area: Mount Snow, VT

Conditions: Machine made PP on Well covered and groomed slopes and trails

Trip Report:

Another great day out on the ski trails! Once again took advantage of another CT Ski Council awareness day and scored a lift ticket for $32.00. Kinda felt a little guilty at the ticket window when I overheard the guy at the next window paying the full boat which was $72.00, yikes!!

Me and my ski bunny booted up and hit the hill just before 10am and skied all over the hill! Started on the main face with a few warm ups then over to Sunbrook and onwards to Carinthia. Everything we skied in the morning with the exception of Mine Shaft was groomed out, pimped up packed powder and skied great! Mine Shaft had the guns blazing, wasn't groomed and made for some nice turns in the soft virgin manmade!

We took a break for a bite to eat and a tasty Porter (or 2) at Cuzzins and headed back out around 1:15 to fulfill our quota of vertical descent. Took a couple on the main face to warm back up again and then headed back to the North Face for what turned out to be the run of the day! Plummet was skiing pretty sick! Big whales of soft, chalky man made snow that had just been opened a few hours earlier. Even though the visibility was a bit tough we ended up lapping it three times...just because it was that good!

Finished the afternoon off with a couple on the main face. A Cascade>Standard, a Lodge>Exhibition, a Little John>Long John>Sweet 16>Season Pass and a Long John>Beaver Hill back to the base area.

Sweet pics! Can't wait to get back out there. I want to do the cliff drop whilst wearing my Santa hat.

Awesome stuff, can't wait to get back up there again Friday. Can tell you were/are a racer, great turns!

Plummet is definitely a gem for the place.
